Select Access Names Additions to Executive Leadership Team
SADDLE RIVER, N.J. (September 27, 2005) PDI, Inc. (Nasdaq: PDII), a diversified sales and marketing services provider to the biopharmaceutical and medical devices and diagnostics industries, is pleased to announce that its Select Access business unit has made the following additions to its Executive Leadership Team.
Jill Blinderman and James Nebel have been named to the business development team. In this role, Ms. Blinderman and Mr. Nebel will be responsible for developing new client relationships.
Jill Blinderman has been working in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years, 14 in contract sales. She joined the Select Access business unit in 2001, having served in the positions of National Sales Manager and Director of Field Services. Prior to PDI, Jill was in field management with what is now Publicis Selling Solutions, working with a variety of clients on the district, region and national level. Prior to Publicis, Jill worked for the Parke Davis division of Warner Lambert (now Pfizer) as an office based and hospital based sales representative, as well as a field trainer. Jill earned her BA in Biochemistry from Colby College.
Jim Nebel brings over 25 years of business development experience to PDI, most recently with American Greetings Corporation where he was the Northeast Regional Business Development Manager. Prior to American Greetings, Jim spent eleven years with Hallmark Cards in a variety of market development roles. Jim earned his BA in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta and his MBA in Marketing Management from Pace University.
In addition, Heidi Minick has been named National Account Manager for Select Access. In this role, she will manage the Select Access field sales teams as well as have responsibility for ongoing client contact. Heidi has been with PDI since 1996, most recently as a regional manager on the sanofi-aventis program. She has worked as a representative, manager and program manager over her tenure with PDI with numerous clients, including GlaxoWellcome, Allergan, Abbott, Aventis and Ferring. Prior to joining PDI, Heidi held field sales positions with DuPont Pharmaceuticals. Heidi earned her BA from the University of Michigan.
Additionally, Rebecca Silver has been named Executive Director of Sales Operations. In this position, Rebecca will be responsible for operational effectiveness, incentive compensation planning and business analytics. She most recently was instrumental in implementing the sales force automation platform. Rebecca has been with the Select Access unit for 10 years, working as a Sales Representative, District Manager and Regional Manager. She has managed client relationships with such companies as P&G, Pfizer Consumer HealthCare, Bayer HealthCare, Novartis, Allergan, GSK and Schering Plough. Prior to joining Select Access, Rebecca held positions with United Health Maintenance, Maryland Medical Laboratory and The Medix School.
