PDI to Provide Pulsing Sales Team for Leading Nutritional Products Manufacturer

SADDLE RIVER, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 2, 2007--PDI, Inc. (NASDAQ: PDII), a provider of commercialization services to the biopharmaceutical industry, today announced it has been selected to execute a promotional campaign over a three-month period for a leading provider of nutritional products. The initiative will utilize 200 representatives from PDI's exclusive Select Access(TM) team to accelerate brand awareness among pediatricians nationally for a new product launch.

Select Access, the only leveraged sales team in the industry, was chosen due to its established physician relationships, extensive experience with pediatricians, and the ability to quickly deploy seasonal, regional and event-driven pulsing teams. Select Access is a unique selling model in which multiple clients with non-competing products can access a fully operational sales force in high-potential zip codes, while providing each client with primary position calls at least 80% of the time.
